I was blackberry fun at the onset of me discovering them but ever since I started to ear nd experience issues with their tech, I developed a negative feeling, but I'm optimistic that one day I'll reignite the fire I had at first with the new device's they bringing in. fingers crossed about"Mercury" 👌

Recent priv updates to the camera app have added the ability to swipe the keyboard in order to adjust the camera. Can be used in both manual and auto modes. Theres navigation keys for the camera. Eg users can be swiping the keyboard to adjust something like the iso setting in manual mode, then press the 'a' button for auto to instantly reset to the default iso setting. Not sure i'll ever want a phone camera that isn't integrated with a capacitive keyboard again.

Most people use smartphone not dslr to tale pics. We want something light with big screen. Call it stupid but there are people out there enjoy taking photos with tablet. But of course, Im not one of them. Most of the time its not about pics quality. Its about having fun taking photos and enjoying the moment. That is what typical average people is like. :)

This device is seriously going to be one of the best in 2017. Laugh as much as you want, but that's my opinion. This is already one of my favorite devices of 2017.

But I was wondering doesn't most DSLR's have viewfinders that are much smaller around 3 inches? That never impeded their image-capturing abilities. Just saying my opinion, I'm not a troll looking to pick a fight with you. Cheers! :D

AnonD-632062, 28 Jan 2017Since when was camera prowess linked to the screen size? If... moreIts call enjoyment. Even I have no desire to take picture with tiny screen even if the camera is as powerful as Pixel phone. Look at tiny iphone 4.7" screen. The viewfinder is on with 4:3 aspect ratio for the 12mp resolution. That makes the screen even tinier. Imagine that on a 4.5" screen, then the view finder cut off the screen even more with the 4:3 aspect ratio to take photos. Probably left with a 3 inch screen. Stupid idea ever.

It's nice to have Pixel's camera, but more importantly it should have Pixel's HDR+ software algorithm! That's what made the Pixel's camera so awesome!

Julliard, 28 Jan 20174.5" screen? All that camera prowess go down the drain. Since when was camera prowess linked to the screen size? If you really wan't to enjoy pictures in all their 12MP glory, even a QHD 6 inch screen wouldn't suffice.... and BTW 4.5 inch is not much smaller than a 5inch screen.

I think this will be out officially as Blackberry Rising. Or Blackberry Venus Earth Mars. Either way, great recall for consumers.

Yeah, but everyone needs to remember that the processing will in all likelihood be handled by a 400 series Snapdragon. Not too good.
