Okay. I get that oppo sold a lot of phones. How about updating these R9 units? Android 6.0 is a beta in China and unreleased elsewhere so far. You've had a successful product. It's time to give back some love to users OPPO....

What I will say is copying design doesn't necessarily mean the same performance.
For example, Oppo have copied apple's antennae design and built it into the back of the case. They may not have done it correctly. Also since it's not a closed design like Apple, the hardware in the phone won't be as efficient with the software hence battery life won't be as good as an iPhone. I always find with cheap iPhone knockoffs made in china, that the battery life always suffers cause the software isn't specifically designed for that exact hardware.

i hate Apple, but i feel sorry for them here. The reason they can't sue because China have no effective interlect properties protection laws. And a lawsuit would damage Apple image in China more than what it would gain back. I geniunely hate many Chinese company for just sitting and copying anything, with no efforts on R&D- except Huawei who has own SoC and is also a big player in telecom field.

1)Though R9 looks like an iPhone wannabe, it also looks better.
2)But just like iPhone, R9(especially p10 version) is also overpriced.
3)Third, xiaomi would a) have sold much more MI5 and b) could have saved some money also if they would a) have made MI5 available for everyone who wanted one (with exact ver
sion of choice) and b) just upgraded the specs to 4gb+64gb and 6gb +128gb of regular and pro.
4)last, Oppo sold a big portion of this R9 phone in villages and such cities where people don't know how to register, online shopping etc and viral marketing.
And, HELIO P10 IS CRAP LOL.
