I replaced my cracked screen&display within half an hour at Mi Customer Care. Costed me around 2,900 rs only. For my friends Lumia 730, they quoted 8K. So, parts are cheap and video justifies that it is easier to take it apart for repair as well.

So my friend, how's that "new Nokia" testing going? Tearing down sealed test units must be fun.

According to this YT video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BaL5j8WoTM&t=17s
Nokia 6 beats Redmi 4 using the same SD 430 but with 2GB RAM in app test by 7 seconds. Redmi seems to visibly lag a few times. But surprisingly their AntuTu test results is very similiar, despite Nokia having better optimalized OS and 2x more RAM. Suspicious huh?
The same in ZUK Z2 Pro vs Honor 8 video, when ZUK Z2 wins in benchmarks except multi-core score but looses terribly at user speed test.

All used apps are common apps found on almost every phone

And it's even more suspicious when lately OnePlus 3T has been found cheating by ppl from XDA at benchmark tests byt letting it's cores "slightly" active while idle to complete tests like AntuTu faster than it's opponents.

There goes creditibility of benchmark tests.

So what's more attractive? Cheaper Redmi Note 4 with meh built quality, no tempered glass, no anti-scratch surface coating, a faster SoC but terribly optimized OS, "good" performance on paper and far worse camera is definitely not my choice. And I won't even be surprised if it loose against Nokia 6 in user speed test or win by just a small margin. You get what you pay for.

"extreme stress" it just a show and commercial act from the tester. Who the hell will use the phone with that kind extreme use in daily live? People will care/protect about the phone that he/she bought with hard working money. What needed test is performance and water resist-scratch with high possibility to happen during phone using. So dont be so stupid LOL! If phone built as strong as military tank or reliable as airplane, can we afford it? You know what: even small battery in airplane cost more than S7 or iPhone. Be realistic!

By "easily taken apart" , people are thinking that it means phone has bad built quality but actually they are praising it that it is very easy to repair because it is easy to take apart. It has more repairablity.

I would only tear it to the extent of replacing the battery that's it.
Thanks for the entire vid though. :)

Thanks Ericsson. This wouldn't have been possible without you.

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2017It was one (Mi5) not every single one Also the Redmi Note 3 didn't do well at his tests. He tested the redmi 3 pro and the mi mix too and they both held up well. The 3 pro held up well because of its thickness and the mi mix because of its premium build quality and for the asking price of the mi mix it should be expected. As I said, for the asking price of their devices, compromises had to be made and it seems build quality suffers the most. But I think it will only show in extreme stress ofcourse and not maybe in day to day usage. Xiaomi phones are still good though. I'd get one if its easily available here in our country

Guys, the Mediatek Note 4 DOES HAVE SCREWS! You can clearly see them in the review photos here on gsmarena.

                                    http://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_note_4_(mediatek)-pictures-8291.php

The main reason I bought the 4 instead of the 3 pro is the much sturdier (and nicer looking) back. It's really sad Xiaomi skimped on the quality of the Indian model.
