Other than the rounded corners on the display, that are a nice touch, it is sad that LG have not stuck to their two most popular designs ever, the G3 (of which I have own two and only gave them up after they became too slow, due to that lovely large narrow bezel screen being driven by a rather slow processor), G4 and V10/20. Nice comfy curvy body, rear power and volume controls, plastic case, so no need for a seperate case (and better wireless signal!). I also owned a G5, and for all the hate, everyone I know who has one loves it, and the wide angle camera is excellent.
I think LG are trying to play it safe by using an unoriginal design that looks like the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6/7 rather than choose a brave industrial design that will make people buy it because it is different and more comfy and so on.
Hate to say it, but if the S8 and iPhone 8 are very original in shape and such, LG will be playing catchup eventually, even if on the market first.

I like the new approach to the design. But we need a unique and premium design which people will tell its the "LG Design". Hopefully will see it in the next flagship :)

One antenna strap on the bottom and two at the top? And those round screen edges? Single speaker outlet? Wish LG had made more cohesive decisions regarding those aspects.
