Sound like it is just as much Samsungs fault. Samsung could and should educate it's users. Somehow tell them that their newly acquired mobile smartphone supports making payments at any terminal that supports a credit/debit card. Stickers, fliers, ads, etc. And if in doubt - just try it.

Doh there's a surprise.....Apple pay is the most popular method of phone payment in America.....According to Boston Retail Partners lol...smell a rat? An American company who conducts surveys says another American company (which just happens to be one of the richest and biggest) has the most favorable mobile payment method there based on wait for it.... Not 5 million, Not 5 thousand but 500 businesses lol.
Must be getting paid by Apple!

I watched a video on youtube how a guy buying stuff with nothing but a Galaxy Note 5. ALL of the person at the cashier was skeptical and immediately said to the guy that "We don't support Apple Pay" and the guy was like "This is better than Apple Pay". The guy then suprised the cashier by using his Note 5 on the terminal and purchased all of the stuff.
So yeah, I agree that there's no education about mobile payment method even among employees.

this survey seems a bit pointless since it clearly states that the people who took the survey didn't understand the payment systems that they currently accept. Samsung Pay should be at the top of the list and all other payment systems should be tied since alternative payment systems rely on NCF. The only time any other them would not be accepted at a contactless payment terminal is if the card being used on the back end is not accepted by the retailer.
