Pragma, 14 Feb 2017If I may ask, what defines a flagship? Is there an objectiv... moreA flagship must generally have a lot of the latest and high-end specs, at least at the time of release. Typically it is the topmost offering from a company and it will usually also be priced as such too.
For a smartphone, that would mean a top-of-the line processor, a high quality screen, excellent cameras, premium design and probably a few standout features. In this case, the 720p screen and the Helio P20 chipset give away that this is clearly not Sony's flagship. Cheers! :D

Specs clearly indicate that this device is close to budget models. Nothing wrong with that. But I bet it won't be cheaper USD 400 ))) Sony is trying to make money rather than take market share. But going like that - in couple of years they will have just a few customers with each of them having Sony midrange model with cost of around USD 50000 per unit )))

Its Mali after all.
Snapdragon SoCs with adreno are much better all around performers than any exynos or mediatek.
But this mediatek SoC is quite good for a midrange device yes.

This is midranger and specs are also good. Sony rocks. Well optimised phones that never lag or hang or other annoying things won't happen unless it is user fault. Even my two years old Z3 works smooth.

For those who are complaining about the Mediatek chipset not being suitable for gaming: Pikachu 'literally' wipes the floor with the Galaxy S6 when it comes to on-screen performance. Not bad from an affordable midranger ;-)
