Apple stock closes at all-time-high in anticipation of 10th anniversary iPhone

Apple's shares closed the day at an all-time high following steady increase of price after Apple's Q4 earnings call.

It's not "all-time-high", it's just a bubble because those guys on Wall St are good at selling craps... Under Tim Cook, Apple is just another brand.

      Look at Blackberry...the once "it", then it became "One of"...
      The trick for apple will be staying there and holding on to their market share... Samsung and the Chinese phones are eating into that in a big way, and in the end this is good for us the users. If Apple didn't have all the competition is getting it would have kept on issuing plain incremental units, but because Samsung and the others are breathing down its neck it has to push the envelope and come up with a really "innovative" unit for the next Iphone.
      "innovative" as in checking what other companies are making and making it better (which is their idea now of innovation)

This is, however, only true for high end AMOLED. When going for mid range devices, I would never ever buy AMOLED because of horrible color over saturation. Here, I would always go IPS/LCD. And when looking at Apple's LCD in iPhone 7, I cannot see any dominance of AMOLED. The only disadvantage that Apple's latest displays have compared to latest Samsung AMOLEDs is resolution.

And QHD resolution is more than enough to overcome reduced sharpness. And anyway, Apple users are not pixel peepers and 326ppi on LCD is enough for them, so 400ppi on AMOLED should not be much of a concern.

                  If apple were genuinely innovators the ips would have evolved into a superior display eg sharp eizo technology.

                  Problem is apple has no more innovation R&D. Where are those billions going and yet share price continues to rise in hype and not proper R&D..

LoL Wrong. iPhone is not for me so I am not going to buy one, but in today's conditions, combinations of Apple and Samsung is sure a killer one. and u r in really misunderstanding about AMOLED. They are crowd favorite.
