guys... HTC make really great units (but just few) starting from release date: M8 A9 10 and your favorite Google Pixel .... look ... they have really great units... but their price is ridiculous... htc 10 worth only... they have amazing build quality... nice design language and good performance... but htc have some really bad things like speakers at first place... camera isn't nothing special (don't mean it's bad) I don't see point of htc sense... there's no sense... also slow unlocking bootloaders... overall these units are nice for about 300-400 Euro ... I'm an LG fanboy so i will take Samsung to compare with it.. better design (more stylish and same build quality) better camera's better support and costumer care ofc screens cant be compared even im not an AMOLED fan... just couse watermarks (most ppl don't know what watermark is) and they pick Samsung... speakers are pretty much same... Samsung galaxy S7 is and it will be better than Pixel (current Best of both companies) even Google has a better costumer care than just HTC... but s7 is cheaper than Pixel alot just for few months behind in Googles OS... best phone for me (and my phone) is V20 but i don't wanna sound like hater or fanboy but this phone doesn't worth 740 for sure... SD 835 phones will be 700-800 at start of producing... few months later much cheaper...

people will never learn until curiosity kill them,have you guys out say that the HTC u ultra expensive have the price of Google pixel,s7 edge ,iPhone???even the u ultra can take down all these three phones in therm of camera ,performance etc but still you guys are complaining,you bought the pixel at high price forgetting that it was made by the same HTC guys are hating.

Not in the market to buy a Sapphire but HTC have manufactured some nice units. A9 1st edition 10 Pixel. I would imagine the Ultra sapphire to feel and be pretty premium though.

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2017those image... made me remember of wtc... sigh... Now that you said it I can't get the image out of my head. There are similarities too: WTC sounds like HTC. And this over-priced phone will probably be downed just like WTC (in the provided image it's already billowing smoke like it).

Majority of users on gsmarena buy 100-200$ phones. I hope they improve on that in the near future and also on the comments they leave. What I'm getting right now is a lot of frustration and hate towards more expensive brands. I know that, I understand where it comes from. The fix to it is work harder, get a better pay and get over it.
In regards to the Ultra, is it worth the premium ? I don't know, never got the hands on one of them, but I suspect is at least as good as the Pixel.
