I don't like it when they say quote: the screen went up from 5.3 to 5.7.
LG changed the aspect ratio to 18:9 if the aspect ratio stayed at 16:9 the screen diameter would be more like 5,4" or 5.5". Because of the 18:9 aspect ratio the screen height will feel more like a 5.2" screen.
Now we get the falls idea of a bigger screen. We should start talking about the screen size in mm² ...

The G6 is going back to sealed bstteries like the Optimus G and G2 had. I love LG. If Samsung is like Nintendo of South Korea, LG is like Sega back in the early 1990's.
I don't understand when LG took a chance and tried to be different with the G5, they got bashed because people couldn't get over the Nexus 6P-like camera hump and build quality. It isn't like glass rears are any better. When they try to make it the same, they will get bashed for not being innovative enough and playing safe.
Sorry to say but the Mi Mix, S8, G6, and iPhone X are just ripoffs of the Sharp Aquos from 2014. I had one of those and hated the ergonomics. The bezel-less phones is a useless, trendy gimmick like curved displays. 2017 looks to be a downer year like 2015 was. Just running out of practical ideas and replace it with glass rears and cosmetic gimmicks.
Where is the Nokia 3310 refreshed and Samsung Galaxy X when you need it? Something different than from the same-looking "me too" designs of the Aquos. Removable battery should be a mandatory requirement for all future phones.

Ever heard of "One-Handed Mode?" give it a try

I hate the corner radius of the display. It doesn't feel right ..
It should be the same as the frame! (Or better, the frame should have the same corner radius as the display, which is smaller ..)

I said it once and I'll say it again: That think looks ugly. Not ugly as hell but ugly. Lg had some really nice designs in the past like the V10, G2, LG Nexus 4....but this think doesn't even come close to something which could be called beautiful.
