It's like leasing a car, you wouldn't expect to keep it at the end of the least because you haven't paid the full price, you'd give it back or you'd take out a newer model on another lease.

Don't ever lease a smartphone from T-mobil! You pay more for the lease and you do not get all the same service as if you just entered into a 2 year contract. At the end of the lease it cost you $179.00 plus tax to buy the phone. You cannot get out of the lease. I lave a LG V10 and it is a very good phone, the battery is terrible and 32 RAM is not good. 64 RAM should be adequate.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2017I don't think most people here understand yes, phones can b... moreSpot on.

When I was in the Philippines, we have expensive phones but ridiculously cheap prepaid services. I would spend $5-$6 monthly equivalent. Here in SoCal, I now save on phones but need to pay $50+ monthly for postpaid.

This deal would be better if the 2-yr contract sign up wasn't mandatory. You save $400 on these phones but would end up paying $1500+ for service you may not need.

I signed up for Sprint last week and Best Buy offered only $10 monthly extra or $240 for the G5. I got extra perks too worth $150+ so I basically got an underrated gem of a phone for less than $100. I paid the entire $240 two days later.

I hate Sprint and think T-Mobile is the better network but I ended up with a better deal and the perfect phone for me. Again, if I never signed up for Sprint last week, I don't think I would sign this T-Mobile deal.

Don't like the S7 edge and V20 is too tall and bulky. Don't want it in titan gray. And T-Mo's Simple Choice plan cost $10 more than Sprint's Freedom Unlimited. I got the worse network but the better, more money saving deal.

I don't think most people here understand yes, phones can be had for substantially less in the US, but they pay substantially more for the service there, too.

Pick your poison: cheap phones and expensive service or cheap service and expensive phones? I prefer the latter.

Asia is where all smartphones are manufactured & where most are originated from usually cost way more in this region than say North America & even some European countries, it's not like asians have more income than their western counterpart.

You can more than triple that price for Australia, in AUD the S7 edge is just under $1100, say about USD825.
In Australia we are always getting ripped off on mobile phones or anything imported.

Dont waste your money on the S7. The worse phone I ever have had, mainly due to the poor battery life. I can use a 100% battery in 2 hours.
