One of the two Xiaomi's was being charged by a charger from a white brand though, and the other is uncertain.

But when people sell their phone they want them off their hands so they refurbish them as cheaply and quickly as possible. They wouldn't buy the 4 times more expensive genuine battery because nobody would be able to tell unless the remove the screen. Here is the issue.
