Samsung to bring an S Pen styled after the classic Staedtler Noris pencil

27 February 2017
This pencil was first introduced in 1901 and hasn't changed since - you can't improve on perfection.

Stondec100, 27 Feb 2017If they have to be charged, then I'm definitely not interested. With Samsung, it's YOU who gets charged, not the pencil.

So Samsung want a pencil as well. Good thing apple didn't name the Pencil "noodle" or Samsung will be making a noodle pen

Stondec100, 27 Feb 2017If they have to be charged, then I'm definitely not interested. Relax, S-Pens never had to be charged right from the first Note and they remain back-ward compatible too. In fact, some Note7 owners kept their S-Pens with them....

Stondec100, 27 Feb 2017If they have to be charged, then I'm definitely not interested. Spen never needed to be charge. Samsung is not Apple. Btw, they even said it will be backward compatible. Thats mean it is digitizer type stylus.

Working on any WACOM digitizer is something, fitting on any similar series is something else. Try to insert any S Pen on a different Note series. It won't fit at all but Samsung talks about a pencil which hasn't changed its design from the beginning. Sorry but that is completely different philosophy. S Pen design changes every year with every new model.

With the huge size of phablets these day, a decent size pen could easily fit the length of the device.
And If they are a little creative with the internal battery-design, the diagonal would be longer than most pens/pencils...

Currently over 2500 phablets in the database are higher than 12.5cm/5"

(Though most of them too thin to hold a pencil)

If they have to be charged, then I'm definitely not interested.

Im already excited for the next note and the s8 hasn't even been announced yet.
