But the jack is a decent size. Bigger the the vibration motor and even the bigger speaker. If removed, it can make room for something useful considering how a lot of the tech nowadays are smaller. I don't think it is a gimmick if it is removed. But I still think it is too early for that move. Another year or two to further optimize tech and reduce the size even further

Godamn, look at those bezels. This must be the most akward device to hold (with is sharp edges) and to store (gargantuan for the screen size). Who is the target audience? I wonder, usability should the number 1 concern of phone makers, and Sony clearly doesn't care.

Add the small battery and realitvely low Ram and you get the perfect trifecta. Slower than a lot of the competition, low autonomy, low ergonomy. It's the dream phone for someone who wants a sh**y flagship and basically doesn't know a thing about phones before committing to buy...

Beastly chipset... but you didn't say that to the really beastly A10 Fusion

Nice, Sony! Shows that the removal of the 3.5mm jack in "leading" smartphones is nothing but planned obsolescence.

There's a lot of improvement in hardware implementation compared to original XZ and especially X and XP . everything is so neatly arranged :) ... They obviously invested quite some money in R&D , and knowing SONY this will probably affect pricing of the new devices a lot especially XZ Premium :( my guess is if SONY actually prices this phone as low as $999 from THEIR perspective that would be very generous .
