Well, you are wrong...iP6s is not even competitor here, and S7 is almost as god, but still... It's not.
This is better device, but problem is that it is LG, not an Apple or Samsung, so it's hard to explain that it cost more than their devices.

What a missed opportunity from LG. Maybe with the specs on the LG G6, they should have priced it at $500 max and offered it as a value flagship.

Buying phone with stellar audio, I'd rather buy Onkyo Granbeat on Global Rakuten, than this phone. It cost a little more (~740 $), but "The smartphone Onkyo Granbeat is positioned as a device for high-quality audio playback. It has two DACs with audio to 24-bit / 384 kHz and two amplifiers". So much for LGs treating European users like a..holes.

Very premium price for not a completely premium device. A device that looks like it came from 2016 so therefore this year it can't compete with the ones newly released.

700 is really not funny for processor 2 years old 820 is same thing as 821, body with Little bit of glass and metal that is a copy from Samsung and HTC, this whole phone is clone and they think that they did something new they say is display take a look of a Mate 7 from 2014 phone is same as this one and just don't have thous round crones and if you want that you can do it by downloading app that makes them curved . But like always from LG they will lower price after 2 months for 30% just because they know what they are.

That Romanian retailer is 100$ more expensive than official price. Expect it to cost 600€ at launch

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2017Speak for yourselfThe primary problem is the specs. First year that a new phone may well be worse than the last (you win screen estate and MaH but you lose the removable feature and selfie quality).
Apart from the looks I'm hard pressed to recommend this over G5. G5 may well be the best phone objectively (especially if you are the type you doesn't mind caring spares).

The phone professor , 02 Mar 2017iPhone 6S is 600 euro and S7 is 530 euro now in The Netherl... morei stop after see iphone 6s, ahahaha what? 6s is not waterproof, dont have dolby vision and hdr10, dont have wireless charging, dont have quad dac audio, dont have expandable storage, dont have an insane dual 13MP camera, dont have a 5'7 screen at QuadHD with 90% screen-body, dont have usb type-c, dont have fm radio, dont have quick charge, dont have NFC and this are mostly hardware side, if i start the software one i will write a book of what 6s dont have compare to lg g6, so please inform better next time professor :)

all phones are expensive when they first come .. remember g5 ? now its half price .. same will happen with this one too .. someone was saying about iphone and s7 price? well do you remember the "starting price?" cose was way more expensive then its now

Equal pricing or less even compared to the Xiaomi mi Mix.But at least here you pay for better camera and everything else and it's not a concept phone.

1. 3'200 RON = 707 EUR = 743 $ (according xe.com)
2. Sales tax in Europe goes for about 20%, different in different countries.
3. Equivalent US price: 743 x 0.8 = $595. Not outrageous, right?

S7 Exynos indeed has better specs so there is a good chance that it is (better)... is it really? Who knows. What we do know is that G5 is better , better selfie cam, removable battery, higher PPI, all for the same performance ... It's bad looking though (the G5) so I can see people preferring the G6...
