It will be £699. Samsung has made the display seemingly bigger so they can hike prices, even if actual usable screen is going to be pretty much the same as before.
And of course, it will never get security updates in time and they will left it in the cold after just two years, as always. They can shove it.

Guys don't fall for this, this is a marketing stunt. There is yet to be an official release of spec and design.
Secondly when it's finally launched it may be few pounds lesser than 800 then buyers may be like oh it's even cheaper than said. It's just a stunt...

Think Mobile Fun are jumping the gun here, and with the G6 (which they recently put up for pre order for the ludicrous price of £699).
They are not exactly one of the UK's major online retailers, and I'm willing to bet the price for both will be somewhat lower when they hit the likes of Carphone warehouse & Clove etc.
If these do turn out to be the real prices, then I hope both Samsung and LG are happy with what little percentage of the mobile industry profit they made last year, cause things sure ain't gonna be any better going forward.......

This is not the final/real price. Just like every other retailer that listed a pre-order for a future device, they will charge it MUCH MORE than the actual price. And then, when the official price of the S8 been unveiled, they will return the remaining money to the customers who pre-order.
I think it had happend before with the OnePlus 3, but don't quote me on that one because I'm not too sure.

S7 owners won't have to be jealous of the S8. What is it going to be? It has a weird 2:1 display (or go fancy with 18:9), no trademark physical and capacitive buttons and it's an awful lot more expensive. The S7 Edge has at least happy days until the S9.

LMAO, 800 pound for a Samsung phone that will add nothing new but a smaller bazel. LUL. If any phone worth 800 pound right now it's XZ Premium with their 4K HDR display and Motion camera and Front facing Stereo speaker. Why they hell would people would spend 400 pound more when they will be able to get S7/S7 edge for at 400 pound by the launch time. Then again brainwashed people do spend unnecessary money. That kind of sheep fanboys are huge among samsung fanbase so everything is possible.
