My LG G2 had a failed motherboard in just less than a year. Good thing I bought insurance for the thing and didn't have to pay for the hefty pricetag of the part. LG's quality isn't really up to par. Never had a Samsung phone fail on me.

    Won't happen.

LG G3 had the sudden death problem (battery dies within 1 year and phone motherboard 6 months after) and nothing was done. About 2/3 off all G3 phones sold worldwide are dead.

I had the same problem with my G4, 6 months after I bought it. Luckily the phone was still in warranty and they replaced the motherboard and the battery. Still works fine now.

I have a lg 4g.and it stop working .it turns on .but it wont go pass the main screen.

LG should have replaced the devices they deserved it.

Idk what kind of loose contact it is that magically becomes loose after getting it to 6.0 marshmallow, as a technician i advised everyone i know to not update their g4 to 6.0 and they have their phones still working till now.
Every single dead g4 i have encontered was either being updated to 6.0 or was on 6.0 for a max of one day

Cyka Blyat, 17 Mar 2017bootloop in mysterious ways...Back in 2016 LG acknowledged the problem with regard to the G4, saying that it occurs because of "loose contact between components".

                      Mystery solved.

Just because your friend's Z5 doesnt crack when dropped but the S7 edge does, doesn't mean it applies to everyone. For some people, even the iPhone 4/4s doesn't crack when dropped, so it really depends.

AnonD-69139, 17 Mar 2017This is the reason i haven't moved on from xperia devices s... moreI used a Galaxy S4 before and it still functional till this day. I dropped it plenty of times and it still have no cracks. It is one sturdy phone. The phone is a little bit laggy, but that's to be expected from a 4 years phone. Other than that, no problems what so ever. After I upgraded to the LG G4, I passed it down to my little bro. Still it's functional without issues. It's all about how you use your phone.

PS: I really hope my G4 doesn't bootloop on me. Made a backup regularly just in case.

Poor Motorola lol hahaahaha

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2017What's this got to do with this articleThe point that everyone that plans on using Android should just go with Sony because they're the only phones with literally no problems at all. Those self-cracking isssues of their glass backs are definitely done with an abuse where once happened with the S7 and S7 Edge, both might not even survive it at all.
