AnonD-404798, 21 Mar 2017Really ? bc all their phones since the S3 look same to me .... moreYou have to check your eyes.. While they did boring designs until the S5.. Once they started the edge design it looked like nothing on this world and in its latest iteration, the symmetrical Note 7 it is the most beautiful phone ever.. And I am a Nokia fan still using the 808

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2017Id rather an s8 over my wifeI feel pity on you buddy! This is the example of person who have too much obsession with iPhone or galaxy. Selling parts of body or say something like this... eh? Would you start queuing at Samsung store now for your Galaxy S8 please? At least for those time you spend there your wife might be more happier for not seeing you at home, you too of course otherwise lol :)

Of all smartphone manufacturers in the world, i only trust samsung and apple. Huawei has its ground on me too because of the P9, but not LG, xiaomi, oppo or others.

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2017Why rounded corners? Otherwise a beautiful phone..U should wait for the next Note. note will be more blocky in the corner, and even better hardware, probably hidden fingerprint underneath the screen as well

At least Samsung doesn't use the very same shell design for 3 years (probably 4) in a row and call it innovation.

I don't care much the 18.5:9 display (although it's useless for video watching but sAMOLED got your back there), but I miss the hardware home button. I mean, it's as natural as the "Start" button and menu on Windows since Windows NT 3.51 with the NewShell. Microsoft tried to change that but laughably failed. I hope Samsung face the same fate. May the Note 8 have them.

After the Note 7 fiasco, I doubt Samsung tried to cram 10% larger batteries in the small space of the S8/S8+. The smarter thing to do would be to leave more air gaps and protect the batteries better which means bulkier batteries for the same capacity.

The leaked info about the capacity of battery is wrong. The S8, according to other sources, might have a 3300-3500mah and the S8+ might sport a 3600-3800mah battery capacity. And if this is right, combined with the efficiency of the latest chipset, its battery lofe would be better than the S7 lineup, which is already in its own league. Kudos samsung!

AnonD-270570, 20 Mar 2017Smartphone of the year. Absolutely! Just like the S6 edge and S7 edge, the Galaxy S8 or S8+ will receive the GSMA best smartphone award next year.
