It's gonna be like the S6 all over again. The battery will drain like a broken dam.

3000mAh and 3500mAh is bad, 4000mAh and 4500mAh is better.

Samsung is playing it safe with old battery technology for the S8 after the note 7 debacle.
Well Samsung I understand you playing safe.
However I wish you went with the latest battery technology and was confident in your own quality testing.
The S8 will always be one year behind as far as the battery technology goes.

Haha, going back I see. The mighty samsung, where a new phone is a downgrade in key features!

Those Koreans must be punished. They think that just because they produced better looking phones this year that that gives them licence to cut corners from everywhere else.

I honestly hope people would stop buying Korean phones for a year so that they'd learn to compete. This is clearly giving the wrong message and if their sales will soar it will give the message that it is OK to cut corners yet charge more. People should resist!

Hmm it'd been good if they at least upped the S8 to 3250mAh and S8+ kept at 3600mAh...

People used to say that the Note 7 had a small battery because of the S pen but the new S series only have 3000 and 35000mah when theres phones like the Huawei Mate 9 with huge 4000mah batteries...

vrvly, 22 Mar 2017Hope it will be exynos here. For me every chip is powerful ... moreI think only the US getting Snapdragon due to using CDMA there.

Oh, I see. 18.5:9 is smaller area than 16:9. So, this S8 consumed less battery.

Hope it will be exynos here. For me every chip is powerful enough, but samsung ones are great for battery performance, S7edge for example.

[deleted post]Nob! But no wonder Samsung are doing power packs for S8.......Even though 10mm processor and less power consumption, It's still going to need more juice!

Also because of only China getting a S8 6GB ram variant,I am not going give Samsung my money for an S8.
