How do you convince someone to use Allo, I talked two friends into using it, one hasn't used it the other reverted back to WhatsApp, Google try listening to your base,

google is not serious company. How they dare to force thousand of people to move from one sms client(hangouts) to something else? How i explain my mom that she has to use another app (after big problem in learning hangouts)?

I'm confused...So Hangout's video calling features are now in Duo, Whatsapp-like features in Allo, Talk features in Hangouts which is now strictly for business? And finally Messenger for just sms and rcf...They don't seem to be sure of what they are doing

i never send sms anymore since whatsapp. Nowadays, sms is like a thorn on my side. I still need it to receive verification code messages or some discount nearby me sent by carrier. But there are too many people use "sms blast" and send me scam sms. I keep blocking them left and right but they just keep on coming.

Thanks Google! Hangouts was the perfect messaging app for SMS'ing and hangouts chats. Then you released Messages which was completely rubbish. Now with SMS support dying on hangouts I finally have no reason to get another Android device!
