Great for landscape photography. Curved displays and Gear VR are gimmicks. Go on SuperSaf or check this site. G5 beat your single cam S7, son. S7 is overrated af. I have it and hate it. Thinking of selling it for a XZ.

So f... moreHey Kid, well, unfortunately I'm just gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that you're very uneducated about photography and your understanding of smartphones are elementary. Long story short, dual camera does not equal better quality, dual camera setups have their own pros and cons. If you know what DXomark is, then you will know the top 2 spots are occupied by the Google Pixel and Samsung S7 Edge/Non-Edge - both only sport SINGLE cameras. So next time before you come posting on a comment board, please do your research - this comment of yours only proves your insolence and immaturity for making such comments.

Galaxy S7 has a single camera and it's still beats all modern smartphones dual camera is a gimmick also how did you know that the S8's camera won't improve? it's not even released yet

There is no dual camera, only that old camera updated. So for what you pay 900+ euro? FOr processor and display ? cause i dont see anything except that for the moment. I hope there is something better than this .

that aspect ratio and round display is gonna cause problems.. and you have nowhere to hold it from. and that giant battery is gonna consume a lot of battery

Purchasing a super costly Android phone does not make sense.
Biggest problem with Samsung phones is bad ram management, every time I left Facebook in background and switch back to it, it starts from fresh news feed and I have to scroll long way, where I was previously. Lots of background running app makes it slow also. What is point of purchasing a 600 USD phone when it can't fulfill a basic and essential function of smartphone i.e. multitasking.
I purchased a galaxy s6 edge and used 4 months, then I lost it and purchased iPhone SE for a change,,, this one is totally different in terms of speed and multitasking. Unlike to Samsung, apps keep running in background until I close them by swiping up. iPhone SE runs smoothly no matter how many apps I push in background. But s6 edge camera was great which I really miss.

Mark my words.why would it fail when its basically the same size as an iphone 7+ but with 6.2" instead of 5.5" I for one am getting the large version as are several people i know. big screens are not for everyone and that is understandable but there is a significant portion of the market that wants bigger screens in smaller devices, this will sell no worries.
