Google Play Store updated with new 'Free App of the Week' section

Currently, the section features a gaming app dubbed 'Card Wars - Adventure Time.'

Link/source not working. Appears to have been pulled already...even checking the main page of Apps shows no free app of the week.

    Why is Android a region based OS ? Like iOS why it can't release the software update to all devices at a time. It fails to do so. I know there are a lot of companies out there that uses Android as their primary OS but they have also failed to provide the update at a same time to all regions around the world. And the new OS are getting bulky with every update. I time will come when the big companies will skip the 16 GB model of a phone and will make the 32 GB minimum storage for a phone. With ever increasing size of the apps and OS's the storage problem will be at it's peak in two years.You will see !

      That game being offered for FREE at the moment had iaps last time I checked.

        I managed to get it by clicking on Source in this article. I can't find it in my device's play store nor in the website, but only by clicking on Source.

        Your instructions are vague "To access the newly-added section, you need to scroll down on the 'Apps' page of the Play Store."
        It is not in the "Apps" page of the website. On our phone, it's called Apps and Games.
        Maybe they'll add that 'newly-added' section later.

                  Hmmm, in some regions, there is only "Deal of the week" (a paid app for a cheaper price).

                    You should try with Like2. It will ask you topics that you consider you know things. Then you can post questions and people who select that topic, will answer your question.
