I wonder if I paid them enough display mate would give my phone a high ranking? It would really make me feel better after spending $800, knowing I have the highest ranking display.

I don't FIND this surprising at all! AMOLED is one of the greatest display technologies right now and Samsung makes the best AMOLEDs. The self given title of super AMOLED really is well deserved.

And there are only few manufacturers available right now and only two(Samsung and LG) who can do it in large scale.. Not everyone can afford to use them and get profits. Even Apple is charging extra for their OLED iPhone.

There are not many manufacturer making amoled display for mobile devices. The only one making amoled for mobile devices in high capacity is Samsung and LG.

Once you go AMOLED, you can't go back to LCD types - until the next battery tech comes along.

· Highest Contrast Rating in Ambient Light (227).
· Highest Screen Resolution 3K (2960x1440).

I have owned/used both AMOLED and LCD phones in the past 12 months. AMOLED is simply the best.
Samsung haters will argue about the displaymate results but they are based on scientific tests so they only make them selves look ignorant.

How did the S8 beat the S8 plus, does it have a better contrast, luminosity, or smth? Or it just sound better for commercial use?
