But i will definitely support Nokia, so when their devices come to life in Europe, i will buy one 6 or 5 for me. Just to support them as they are, a brand with principles way better then any chinese/american brand will ever be. But do not get sour. I do not like android at all, so, it is somethin:). I have my own "duel" with the system and it's makers. Still, i will support a brand that always did something for technology, with hopes they will get pass this wannabe's Oem's and start to truly innovate again. Cause, let's be honest, innovation (evan copying, cause the others had nothing to copy anymore) went down the drain since Nokia said goodbye to smartphone Industry.

                                    [deleted post]Aaaand EVERYONE CONVENIENTLY forget...

"But then we trust Nokia over samsung on similar reports like this bcos Nokia has no huge outrageous history of "U know what""

WOW, FANBOY ALWAYS knows the best WHERE TO HURT rival brands BUT CONVENIENTLY INSOMNIAC or FORGET that NOKIA is the FIRST CASE when it comes to "huge outrageous history of "U know what"" cough* exploding batteries *cough...

In 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010, Nokia has BATTERY EXPLOSION cases (BL-5C) happening AROUND THE WORLD (China, South Africa, Thailand, Netherlands, Vietnam, many of Nokia's users DEAD, while some others have seriuos burn, even get his leg amputated (Thailand).
BUT, Nokia DENIED the first cases of battery explosion, saying that IT WAS BECAUSE OF COUNTERFEIT batteries, & DENIED to pay the fine sued by its "former" consumer, because of that.
Late in 2007 where the EXPLODING BATTERY cases becomes as HYPE as the release of NOKIA 6 todays, NOKIA started the investigation, and said the EXPLODING cases as "very rare cases", and issued product advisory.

According to the release, "in very rare cases" the Nokia-branded BL-5C batteries could short circuit leading to an explosive burn. Nokia goes on to say that the danger only exists while charging the battery and of the 100 or so reported incidents, "no serious injuries or property damage have been reported." Oh really? So the loss of a leg no longer constitutes serious injury?

So, between 2016's SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 7 & 8 YEARS Nokia's EXPLODING BATTERIES (2002-2010), WHICH ONE do u consider WORSE?
OFC, Samsung ones, as u are NOKIA DIE-HARD fanboys, right?

and even after 8 years of exploding cases happend AROUND THE WORLD, u FANBOYS will STILL BUY "NEW" NOKIA phones, RIGHT?

THAT'S FANBOYISM FOR U, FORGET ONES' FAULT INSTANTLY YET REMEMBER RIVALS' FAULT FOREVER!

ps. I, like u all NOKIA FANBOYS know, am one of Nokia's "critics", because once, I too, use Nokia phones, BUT with ALL its faulty products I encountered with my phones, as well as news of Nokia's fiasco happended ALL OVER THE WORLD, including their DENIAL to pay fine by the victims, their DENIAL over its first cases of EXPLODING batteries, saying it as "counterfeit's" fault, & DENIAL over the FACTS that MANY PEOPLE has become VICTIMS of EXPLODING batteries by stating "very rare cases" & "no serious injuries or property damage have been reported." makes me downright DESPISE Nokia, till now.

But often a brand is your best guess. If you got something that has served you well that is worn down (no matter if it is a car or a pair of socks, or anything in between), you are likely to look for the same brand again as a starting point looking for a replacement. Call it brand loyalism or fanboyism....

Some evil greedy companies have found out that we as consumers as a mass are so stupid that this goes even if they are using planned obsolescence. This malice have spread from aPple to almost all phones/phablets today, as the manufacturers have made it hard or at the least disproportionally expensive to change the battery when it is worn out after 2-3 years, or do other simple repairs so people buy a new device in stead. Good for business, bad for the consumer and the environment...
