Currently, the only two phones that matters is the Galaxy S8 and the XZ Premium. Honestly, I would pick the GS8 over the XZP any day.

I would like to vote for S7. Perfect phone. Would like to use it for 10 years if possible. Can't imagine needing more from a phone.

Never again after 6 generations of self-cracking screens. I'm surprised they are still in the smartphone bussines, but there will always be dumb fanboys I guess.

XZ Premium all the way! Best specs out there. But mosy of the people have no clue about tech specs. All they care about is the design so they'll go with the S8 which surprisingly is not bad at all this year.
The G6 is so last year, HTC sux big time lately and the chinese fortune cookies don't even matter.
So yeah, it's all between the XZP and the S8. 5he choice is yours.

Xiaomi Mi 6 or 6+, may not have all the bells and whistles of the Samsung G8 but at half the price - a no-brainer. I will definitely go for either of these new Xiaomi phones. Great choices for Canadians even if these phones don't have international LTE Bands, just the usual Bands 1, 3 and 7. Four Canadian carriers have LTE Band 7 - Rogers, Fido, Bell & Virgin - compatible with 90% of Chinese phones.

XZ Premium is the winner here IMO as it's the only phone with one eye on the future with memory stacked sensors and super slow motion video. No other phone really brings anything new this year.

Display is so widescreen that it's useless. Camera is copy pasted from S7 and I have huge doubt over safety issues as well.
