Some Samsung Galaxy S8 users are complaining about reddish tint on display

Correcting the phone's color display settings allegedly doesn't improve the situation.

Those users must have been used to the bluish tint of most devices such as cheap phones and laptops. I have a cheap laptop and had to correct the color balance from bluish to reddish, sacrificing a lot of brightness. At least, it corrects for color and probably helps for sleep quality

          You can adjust the white balance on color balance setting, just look at Erica Griffin's YouTube video.

              basic issue with amoled. xda has massive long threads discussing this with no solution. the manufacturing process is the reason itself for different tints on amoled. happened with nexus 6p changed twice. note 4 changed 3 times then got a good display. note 5 got the best display in the first go. i have accepted the fact that almost every amoled panel has tint and sadly you need to keep on exchanging phones till you get a good one.

                I'm sure the device it's fine fot the money it costs... The perception of the owners it's the issue here :)

                          That's the reason I never go for Flagship phones. J series, A series and C is better in terms of not ruining your bank balance

                                This red tint/blue tint colour on display used to be a big issue on the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge handsets in India. I bought 3 of those units and it was a purely display hardware issue with all the units and no colour settings or any other phone settings could improve it. Those colour issues could be seen easily when the display wallpaper/background was grey or white and once you see it, you absolutely cannot "unsee" it again. S6 edge plus units didnt have that issue.

                                  Lol so Samsung now have to call back all it's phones again? That's the reason I never buy flagship phones. I usually go for J series or A series

                                    its ok ... it just small matter... everything can be fix ... dont need to gone rage about this kind of thing ... nothing is perfect ..

                                    except apple ... if happen on apple device, u should burn their HQ ~~ gone rage and made fun of them how rubbish their device ah ...

                                      2015 - lack of important features (SD Card Slot & IP Rating)

                                      2016 - battery triggering

                                      2017 - red tint display

                                        theres always problems with very new phone but thats not good tho. i hope when i get my s8+ i dont have the same problem
