18 April 2017
A laconic press release doesn't tell us much more. does it get the 6GB RAM/128GB storage upgrade? That's TBD.

    Good for Q2/3 2016.... no in Q2 2K17

techlover1, 18 Apr 2017But it means that this will be the 2017 flagship of ZTE, I ... morejust a late current replacement

Well, I hope that this will be just a current and temporary successor of the Axon 7, for example, like the OnePlus 3T to the 3, but that they have a OnePlus for this year (OnePlus 4or5), and absolutely not instead of an Axon 8 with the SD835, etc.

But it means that this will be the 2017 flagship of ZTE, I mean this Axon 7s will be the successor of the Axon 7 of 2016 instead of an Axon 8? Or this is just a late current replacement, but then eventually ZTE will launch an Axon 8 (with the SD835) ???????

Even the SD 801 was more than enough for smartphones. I can't imagine ever needing anything more powerful than 820. We need better nd bigger cameras, and better and bigger batteries.

That's kind of a late move for ZTE
