AnonD-510098, 25 Apr 2017Battery is way too small! Needs to be near the 4000mah markIt doesn't need to be anywhere near the 4000mAh mark. The two most popular smartphones in the world by far (the Galaxy S8 and the iPhone 7) don't have batteries anywhere near that size. Don't confuse what you want with what sells to the mass market.

The mass market likes gimmicks... Curved displays, dual camera sensors, Iris scanners... You name it. The mass market isn't into practical features like battery life, a smooth/clean software experience, performance, and a good gimmick-free camera. That stuff just doesn't sell.

So don't be surprised if the OP5 is heavy on gimmickry and light on practicality. If OP wants to sell more than 2 million phones, they have no choice but to go down that road, whether we like it or not.

Noooo, why are the Chinese companies so sticking to dual sensor cameras? :-( OnePlus, why you also? I was really hoping for a bigger sensor camera instead ;(

Still not interested, screen remains to be too small for my taste. :/ Maybe next time, then.. 6.0" or bigger variant, please.

I hope all the specs for op5, except the battery of course, is like what it is rumoured. And waterproof too!

I feel as this phone will flop just like the OP2

            Hope not, at least 3250-3300...

They learned a lot with OP2, hope they don't make the same mistakes. Just listen to what consumers and fans say in their forums...more battery life, better camera (dual camera...i'm curious to see if they go Huawei route or LG route here) , better screen, top performance. And of course, software updates!

That's it, if they stick to this recipe and do not ramp up the prices too much, it'll be a winner.

                  If 3000 mAh is true, I won't be getting a OnePlus 5.

3000mah battery is a big mistake. Don't companies realise that battery capacity is an important spec feature and users want bigger battery capacities each day? Also, a degrade in battery capacity from Oneplus 3T will be disappointing. I hope Oneplus can re think about this.

of course we need to shill the "b-bigger battery!" meme and cry because of decent 3000mAh.

The camera design won't look so ugly like this. And look at the bottom, you will see the frame a little bit awkward leftover there. Totally photoshop. haha

Here come's the ultimate flagship killer...

Noooooooooo! Just 3000mah on a 5.5incher of qhd, only to achieve iphone's 7mm?? Why?? Please don't!!

Which flagship is it supposed to "kill" with a 3000mah battery and probably another slab with big top and bottom bezels? Maybe they're competing with HTC since HTC is trash now, but nothing about this phone is a flagship killer other than the price, and the price is justified given that there's really no other selling point to this phone other than that.

we people keep saying it but in the hope that there's a slight chance oneplus reads this, please do not put only 3000mah on your 2017 flagship. make it at least 4000mah . thank you.
