Gear S3 gets support for Samsung Pay; service hits the UK on May 16

The launch announcement was made by the tech giant today on its Korean website as currently only Gear S3 users in Samsung's home country can use the service.

Eh? Why is the original S6/S6 Edge not listed as a compatible device for when (if) Samsung Pay launches on the 16 May? Only S6 Edge + is stated.
It was off the back of the launch of these devices that Samsung Pay was first announced. How comes they aren't mentioned in the website Q&As? Anyone know?

I am from Singapore and I have been using Samsung Pay with Samsung Gear S3 (LTE) for quite sometime.
Are you sure that it has just been launched?
