Apparently the Japanese game giant really has its hands full with the Switch.

AlienNextDoor, 02 May 2017We don't have unlimited resources to make a small plastic s... moreIt's probably BECAUSE of the 2DS XL, (as well as Switch), that they discontinued the mini NES. It makes sense to focus on the real money makers no? After all, they were sort of in trouble after the WiiU, and still are frankly speaking. Not really surprising.

Every company makes these kind of decisions.

Bring on the mini-SNES, and the Switch Pro with VR attachment.

    Chill lol.

It's because Nintendo have been cheapskates about novelty product releases, remember them trying to keep the Game & Watch series relevant? Yeah... I never understood what the big deal about the NES Classic was, and now it's relegated to collectors 'rocking horse sh*t' status. I don't have the spare time to put up with these cheap schemes anymore.

        This is bull.
A lot of people were still waiting for their christmasgifts when they cancelled the production.
If they had at least made sure to make enough units to fulfil oustanding orders, it would have been a different matter if they felt they had to move on.

Limited resources ... yet they release new Nintendo 2DS XL next week?
              Riiiiiiiight.
Nintendo makes such a beautiful, fun games, but when it comes to hardware, sales or fan releated stuff they are clueless at best.

We don't have unlimited resources to make a small plastic shell with a small emulator inside. Here's our new 2dsxl. LoL

I have nes, snes, gb, gba, n64, and gc with more than 2k games on my phone and PC. You can shove your consoles where the sun doesn't shine.
