Stop reminding me about the unsupported "unforeseen platform limitations" for Z3 family. We are talking about those "monthly security patches" from Google. Did Sony actually care? Who cares? Well its definitely Sammy. Well my assertion ain't fraud. Google for "T-Mobile rolls out February security patch for the Galaxy S4"! If Sony did, we shall talk again.

Note 7 would have had been only flagship at that time but it went KaBOOM so yeah sony won that quarter in which no brand could care more other than Samsung and Apple. Ip7 launched in September so it was not even considered while it sold more phones in that quarter that Sony in past 2 years

Trust me, Z3+ and Z5 families are the most disgruntled devices amongst all the entire Z Series. Apparently this company is hopeless. Just look at their quarterly sales respectively. It proves nothing but serves them right!

The phone usually last within a year anyway, and I'll just buy new one, and probably still cheaper than a similarly configured Sony phone. It's not like Sony's support is any better anyway.

As the owner of a Sony smartphone, I consider this overpriced, low-low end specs and mid range price.
If only Sony would assure timely updates and proper software support... My Z5 Compact still has 1st of December security patch and filled with some nagging bugs, I guess it could be worse.

oh a mid range sony with a big ass screen...will probably snap in half as soon as you put it your pocket. It looks nice though like all sony phones.
