now its time for Apple to include some handy features in their pencil. It should have some built in features like screen shot, screen writing, web writing, crop..etc. Till now in iPads we still need a separate app to do such things. But I think these should be embedded in the Apple Pencil like Samsung Galaxy Note S pens.

Anonymous, 24 May 20174:3 sweet spot for split screen in any orientation and any ... moreAlso mini models are dead for a reason. You can get 6.5 inch phones at this point. Mini models was there to bridge the gap back when phones were 4 inchers and tablets 10 ... Nowadays the gap is already bridged by large and ultra large phones. Easier to carry w better cameras too...

Basically what we call phablets we used to call mini tablets and what we call phones we used to call phablets ... So we're there already, change your naming and you'd see that you have many small tablets to choose from.

Anonymous, 24 May 20174:3 sweet spot for split screen in any orientation and any ... moreNo 3:2 is that. In general wide-screen screens are more easily divisible as you get two rectangles, still plenty of space to work on.

3:2 is for much more more than media.

It is close to the best for reading (books are 1.42:1)
It's better for media as it is wide-screen
It is better for websites as it is wide-screen
Good both in portrait and landscape
          *Better* for multi window.
*Better* for games, especially since most are wide-screen optimized

4:3 is worse in everything compared to 3:2

16:10 can also be used in portrait quite easily, 16:9 can't (way too oblong) on larger devices.

Smaller bezels on a tablet isn't revolutionary, it's missing the point and calling it 'courage'.

16:10 / 16:9 are stuck in landscape mode for large screens, and portrait in small screens.

iPad is always good in any orientation usage. Its more then just a video consumption device, got to think about games / web browsing / keyboard typing.

Make a 8.5 inch mini model

There is such thing as progress. Not changing for a solid decade is not consistency it's refusing all forms of progress. It doesn't even have to be fast, being gradual would be enough. But they refuse even that, gradual progress...

BTW the iPhone did change aspect ratio between iPhone 4s and iPhone 5.

So there is something else that keeps them back. There are some ... Geniuses in there that think 4:3 is relevant somehow despite literally no content is using it anymore...

all ipads have 4:3 for a reason...all apps are done in that format. if they change that all app would appear with those ugly black bars. let android in peace with 1000x different resolutions and ratios and let at least have an OS with consistence design

Kept the 4:3 . Literally useless.

By now all websites are widescreen. All documents are closer to 3:2, movies are widescreen , games too...

I mean what are they thinking they should leave that ancient aspect ration to the 1990s where it belongs.

3:2 is better for reading, and being widescreen better for everything else too...

                          Gah...

Normally, concepts of bezel less apple products look ugly af. But that render actually looks preeetty good. If Apple does it like that, I would be fine with it.
