Early LG V30 concept render shows a slider with two displays

The interesting form factor could potentially be the next step in the evolution of the "V" series secondary display.

Man those are some great ideas LG always innovating

Cool but it has plenty drawbacks. It could have more drawbacks than the G5.
If they ask me, employ the 18.5:9 aspect ratio then simulate this area but with a minimum bottom bezel.
The problem with this aspect ratio, it makes the phone tall and reaching the top or bottom end is not possible with one hand. This idea of LG can be an ergonomic improvement for taller aspect ratios.

Afraid that the main camera sensor would need to be smaller than ever.

I love the V-series of LG.

This won't work because after sometime this will more problems than it's benefits. The current secondary display is more useful. If LG make that 2 cm wider then that would have been awesome.all the pop-up messages should come on that display only. Imagine how nice that will be.

This is actually brilliant idea! If it looks as good as those renders, it can be new thing!

I'd definitely take this if they could protect the groove between the sliding components...
