S8 and G6 are just a couple of months old and there are already rumours and talks about S9 and G7?

It may not make much sense but LG should tie up with Google to make some new series phones with pixel os as they have worked in past together. The google os is wasted on ugly handsets like pixel. LG G6 is a good device but still it's struggling in sales. LG need to come up with innovative ideas to survive.

If I'm LG, I will form an alliance with others manufacturer to produce own SoC rather than solely rely on Qualcomm. 1st step took over Mediatek & from there create new SoC which better than SD in term of performance & power efficiency... Just 3 SoC.. Premium, Mid Range & Entry level..

Well, that the V30 will use the SD835 it's already positive, considering that the G6 use the last year's SD821. And for next year, it will be really interesting to see who will use the SD845 first, if it will be the S9 again or the G7? Obviously really looking forward.

No one gives a crap about VR. It failed miserably on PC, let alone phones where it has even less practical applications.
The ONLY reason to buy phones with even better CPU and GPU is to play even more demanding games. Whoever buys for different reasons does it simply for bragging rights. Also, games need to catch up. Right now even the Snapdragon 801 plays every game without a problem.
