I disagree with Mr Sony Xperia FOREVER.
Sony's are notorious for being unreliable. To have have my camera turn its' self off because its too warm is a bit no no. However they do have a great image.

AnonD-39937, 31 May 2017"digital cinema camera" means that it's made more for filmi... moreActually it's DCI 4K which is exactly 8.85MP (4096x2160), this camera uses each and every pixel on its sensor for DCI 4K video recording. This camera it's not meant for photography (even though you can shoot pictures with it or just grab a frame from a DCI 4K video.) The low pixel count helps a lot to obtain low noise in low light scenarios that require high ISO levels.

Pentax also use Sony sensor, even better implemented.
Canon is not bad, and 5D mk IV is not that far behind.
Sure you can't add 5 EV to a Canon RAW file, like you can do to a Pentax or Nikon RAW file, but hey - nothing is perfect...

Canon and Nikon gotta step up their game or else they will be done soon. Sony is the face of camera innovation today. All their recent cameras offer exceptional dynamic range, which Canon and Nikon fails to provide in their middle end full frame series. I just love how Sony care for their customers and amaze their users with new and better features in every model. I wish, I had the money to switch to sony A7Rii by selling my Canon 5DM2 and lenses.
