Apple's HomePod smart speaker is official with big focus on audio quality

05 June 2017
The company says it's all about the music, which smartly avoids positioning it directly against the Amazon Echo and Google Home.

Google Home is mono with one driver, Amazon echo is mono too, but with 2 drivers: woofer and mid/highs, the rest are all mono. I do not know if Apple homepod is stereo, but it has 7 drivers for mid/highs and one big subwoofer. Apple is the best until now in the world of smart speakers. But if you want a real speaker with round futuristic design, but without voice assistant, but the best sound, buy Harman Kardon Aura

"HomePod seems to be all about the music, thus trying to avoid pitting its virtual assistant features directly against competitors such as Amazon Echo and Google Home," well someone surely doesn't trust the full capabilities of their digital assistant.

Looks like a UE Boom gone outta diet.

In other words, it looks fat and boring.

What happened to the classic apple looks apart from the OVERPRICING and OVERRATED phones?

Classic Apple. Offers a basic thing (a marshmallow in this case) and charges an extortionate price for it...

                                  Silly name unfortunately.
