They almost always overestimate their prize values in those contests. So the price of the phone is more likely to be 500€ or under.

I like that math.and algebra. It's clear that they can do math 😀

Definitely not. Phone comes nude without anything in the box, only cable and charger. OS quality is far below other high priced brands. Huge risk of not being supported while next generation is released. So even 450 would be to much for what you get. BR.

With that price I better get phone with support and at least some software update guarantee. Maybe even pay more to get Samsung's service (3 hours for any phone repairs guarantee in my country, and not at least a week of repairs of OP guarantee :D)

For the record, this phone came With the S835, double photo module, 8GB ram, probably top notch build quality...

it still the best €/specs ratio on the market so far, so I definitively don't understand why you're complaining

In 500-600€ price range you'll get those phones usually only on a 2-year contract with pretty high monthly payment. Not comparable to retail price of a standalone device.

Wouldn't be surprised at the price hike. Selling at that price is unsustainable business. They were probably just trading profits for market share. Xiaomi, which has similar pricing, but with much higher overhead, is already not making any money from phones.

Xiaomi Mi6 shows you can have quality and top specs at a low cost. What excuse does OP has? Major companies like Samsung, LG have R&D, Offline Marketing (Movies, Billboards and etc) and many other things that justified their cost. I don't see OP doing offline marketing or even R&D like how major brands do, so why the high cost?

Oneplus is known for giving high quality product keeping the cost low as much as possible. But if the rumors are true about 550 Euro then its better to buy actual flagship phone from Apple, Samsung, Sony, Motorola, HTC or LG.

Hope this is wrong, or at-least the top model price, if they want to call it flagship killer in 2017, it should have 400-450$ price tag. Otherwise they will bring typical Chinese 2016 iPhone clone flagship, with worth than average support - that only fools will buy for that price:D

You guys thought they would keep selling their phone without margin forever ? I guess it's time to come down to earth. OnePlus care as much about money as Apple and all others do. It just shows more when they feel confident enough to increase their prices.
