Hi every body
i saw this video 2 month ago in youtube. how do you know it's not a fake phone? sometimes corporations want to destroy other corporations to sell they're phones without any rival

Konvict Antar, 17 Jun 2017This is true, but era is changing, peoples are demanding mo... more1 less spec, no 3.5 mm jack

    but you get:
1 Best camera with ultraspeed auto focus & best low light image captures second to none.
2 brilliant audio w/ 360° sound zoom recording, powerful top and bottom boomsound
3 Edge sense that taking your pictures underwater easy
4 Beautiful Liquid glass surface with optical spectrum hybrid deposition.
5 3D glass screen with no distorted colors at the edge that are the results you can expect from a curved s8 screen
6 USonic earphones with hires audio and active noise cancellation, delivers cinematic sound compared to any others OEM 3.5mm earphones provided in the box
7 Qualcomm latest SD835, unlike G6 old 821 chipset and Rapid charging 3.0 compared to s8 only 2.0

    There's not even a contest.

This is true, but era is changing, peoples are demanding more than they need. Bcause they are concern about what are they paying for, who wants 1 less spec in a same value of money?

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2017Sony do make solid phones, unfortunately brand recognition ... moreSony do not make eye-catching phones. The design is 5 years old at this point and is just plain boring. On top of that they're using their 23mp 1/2.3" camera sensor, which is worse in most situations than their own 12mp 1/2.3" sensor that they're selling to Google, HTC, Samsung and a bunch of others.

They need to update their designs as well as use latest greatest that's available from the Sony Imaging division.

This is a wind up right!!

Ehh yes i saw it, HTC must stay on the right path and not zigzagging (metaphorically).

So the lack of the headphone jack isn't the only bad thing about the U11.

Glass backs are just the dumbest idea ever. Fragile and not able to add to the structural integrity of the phone. It's been a bad idea since the iPhone 4 and onward. Everyone phone with a glass back has had problems with beaking.

I can't believe that HTC, the inventor of the unibody aluminun design (with the Nexus One), which everyone eventually copied including Apple, has jumped on the glass back fad. I also think glass backs look cheap and glitzy.

Super disappointment, because other than the lack of 3.5 mm jack, this phone has great hardware.

[deleted post]Why'd you think HTC is going downhill when it comes to device durability? 10 was a tank (though it was poorly engineered in the inside), U Ultra was much more fragile (but didn't fail), and the U11 is even more fragile than both of them, and fails a simple bend test which phones that don't even cost half of the U11 easily passed.

Glass back if it doesnt bend it will definitely shatter once it drops

Anyway, I would like to see a drop test for U11.

To be honest, to a point these extreme abuse tests are of little value. In the majority of cases this durability does not come into question. Not all. But most. HTC are pushing some boundaries lately. I like that. Spurns further innovation.
