Samsung is testing the Galaxy Note8 with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board

15 June 2017
This could mean that the phablet will launch running this version and not the upcoming O release.

I will stick with Note8 since is the only phone with a pen and android with solid specs. I do believe also that as long as security updates are monthly or something like that, can stay with Android 7 till will be official released and adapted. I cannot find a reason to expect a version which is not even released..

                Expected

Only manufacturers that will release their phablets with the new Android O version will be LG and Huawei.

                Just like 2016

It's TouchWiz or Grace or Samsung Experience, that's all that matters, Nougat, Oreo or Zuppa, all will be more or less same anyway. As especially evident from the pathetic performance from S8's latest iteration. So best of luck Samsung.
