"The change will take place without any notification on the device, because of some unnamed 'technical restrictions' in the Android Market app," yeah right!

My phone originally had 2.2.1 and now has 2.3.6.
I only use my phone for calls and messages,I have no app installed,I have only updated a few of the system apps(gmail, google search{a really old version},voice search & street view{the last 2 I don't use them but they are just a few KB}) that I use but the phone storage is filled up just cause of the play store and play services which I cannot uninstall for some reason. :/
*there isn't any space to update the YouTube and maps app.

Play store is the most retarded name for a app store. Who even came up with such an idiotic name?

I hope devices on Android 2.2 which revert to Android Market after undergoing a factory-reset, will still be able to upgrade to Play Store in the future.

But other Android phone manufacturers didn't update their phone from Android 2.1 so Android market is the base.

Kil all the old android version so we can force all manufacturer to use the latest android version only. Easy. No one will complain that manufacturer still using Marshmallow in 2017 this way.
