We may of different worlds but feature phones really matter in the developing worlds. Here in my country (Philippines), majority of the population rely on 2G. Smartphones are not smart enough to connect to our loveones using 2G. Feature phones prove to be reliable than smartphones in rural areas.
Smartphones are not for everyone 😉

AnonD-473228, 29 Jun 2017maybe...but they will still sale huge numbers in countries ... moreYou are right. But I still think Nokia have to make 3g available for this phones especially looking how mainstream internet is. I'm not talking about watching 4k videos on YouTube or taking pictures for Instagram but to use whatsapp and basic web for limited news. 2g speed is near to impossible for practical usage.

Most of the viewers here are laymen not aware of consumer markets across the globe.
These feature phones is for the indian market (the largest phone market in the world, 2nd largest smartphone market in the world) where the feature phones still account for 55% of the phone market with 45% for the smartphones.
Imagine, just with the 45% smartphone market share its the 2nd largest smartphone market.
