I bought OP5 and I am more than satisfied.
I switched so many phones over years but this is the best.
It is the best phone till date with all the great features.

Only wished it to be waterproof in 2017, it could have given mind boggling further extensions to test it in rain, swimming pools and what not. Getting great photos in rainy trips with its latest dual camera, etc.

Hope waterproof phones will be a standard feature in all phones in coming years. As mobile phones are the most essential gadget for humans and humans get wet daily. Lols..

ZloiYuri, 29 Jun 2017If we look at how popular Oppo and Op5 with iPhonish design... moreOp5 is not popular because of its iPhone like design. On the contrary, it faced a lot of criticism because of it. People are buying the op5 not because of its design, but despite it.

Still available in Amazon.in. Speaks for itself.

Record break is great but we should take into account that there's no way to get this phone other than online, unlike others.
          Actual sales number matters more...
Hate to be snarky but I don't like this generation... I'm happy with my OP3T

Yes it is slightly different, and because the 3T was mostly an incremental update over the 3, so it's not exactly the same. But that the 5 is doing great in India is quite predictable. Most probably it will be a quite huge figure.

If we look at how popular Oppo and Op5 with iPhonish design - could assume people want something like iPhone, especially if they can't afford it. As for me - there are a lot of other phones not worst than OP, but with own design and without fake tests. Personally I don't like iPhone design at all, and much more dislike when somebody copying it without shame. But the worst - when people buy this cheap replica.

I received this phone today. Using for like 7-8 hours. I find it's design to be inferior to Op3t. Very slippery. Unlike iPhone that back looks cheap. I wish there was any lighter color options. Regarding camera it's really good. No complains. Loved the OS. Performance is overwhelming. Battery life is ok. Nothing spectacular. Overall at 33 K it's a good phone but if you are getting 3T at 27 K or lower then go for that as its really not a very major upgrade over 3T.

I work in a UK mobile retailer that offer this handset and the interest around has been crazy considering it's not one of the big players with the huge marketing budget. I'd go as far to say that in the past 10 days we've sold more devices than the S8/S8+ Launch!

                    Kudos OnePlus!
