price still hight for refurbished phone.. 499 USD will be a good deal.
because LG G6 cost 540 USD in my indonesia.

So high for a refurbished old phone, is good but not for this prize

While I had the Note7 for 45 days, I managed to record that 3500 mAh battery perform. Maybe I've been spoiled with an extended 10,000 mAh battery, but having the original 3500 mAh just gave me up to 9 hours of use when it start reaching the 25% mark. As good practice, you should not go deep discharge of below 20% of the battery capacity for better power hold for the long term.

        http://flic.kr/p/SVT5fX

I know the Note8 will not be as better, even if the battery reaching 12 hours for my personal use, I'd still need to charge it before going home. It all means I have to keep plugging in when I can, and carry a powerbank when out. It's just silly.

Give the d@mn thing 6000 mAh, I do not mind it getting to 10 mm in thickness so I will never have the need to charge it till I get home. I would consume an average 6 hours SOT with about 3GB of data being consumed. Music, movies, TV shows, all keep me awake while working. Plus the fact I use my phone as hotspot, and as secondary screen. The S Pen is so useful to jot down things for work.

With my extended 10,000 mAh battery, my average out-of-the-house use is 17.5 hours, with 6-7 hours of Screen On Time, 3GB of data (LTE/Wifi), with just 40% left. If I'm being truthful, 7000 mAh capacities should be injected into these smartphones.

But no. Samsung like Apple, has to milk the masses for their official powerbanks, battery replacement parts, charging pads, so you can keep your phones charged. This is normal? Yeah, because you see everyone needs to do it.

Do you like doing the charging? I don't think anyone is so excited about the fact that you have to charge while out of the house.

          [deleted post]Again you are wrong.

You are reading the content 'blindly' & prooving that you are not using God's gift.

My comment is about greed of SAMSUNG ( & all ENVIRONMENT and fans stuff is blah blah to hide the real intentions)
Note 7, even when given away free should be avoided.

I thought "FE" stands for "Fire Edition" LOL

Note 7 was a star flagship phone last year beside the s7 duo. When s8 duo came now, it looks like completing each others. Note 7 like s7 edge with an intelligent pen. But why only 400k pieces to sell in Korean only? More than $600 for a refurbished last year flagship phone? Its better to buy G6 or s8 duo anyway.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2017You have drunk too much beer today sir. Sit down and watch ... moreSoo????

If Koreans buy, you should buy it too?

There is something called BRAIN gifted to us by God. When will you use it?

Bebe Rexha, 02 Jul 2017$600 for this? Only things it has going for are the screen... moreThe price is high due to the high price of the Note. 8 which is pulling the price up http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8082&idPhone2=8505&idPhone3=8161

This must not be looked at as a 2016 phone albeit delayed more of say a "mini version" of the same phone.

When I saw them side by side I knew it wasn't going to be discounted by a lot, these phones are new phones that were not shipped, just the battery replaced

Vic4BBM, 03 Jul 2017When will SAMSUNG realise that bieng greedy never helps. ... moreYou have drunk too much beer today sir. Sit down and watch it selling like hot cakes in Korea.

When will SAMSUNG realise that bieng greedy never helps.
They released note 7 (without checking the flaws of battery) before IPHONE to dominate the market and make profits. Ended up with explosive devices and had to recall. Loss of business and reputation.
Now in the name of environmental impact reduction and fan edition, they wish to slap the same devices ( with minor tweaks) back at high rates. Idea is simple - recover the losses of note 7 cancellation (AND NOTHING TO DO WITH ENVIRONMENT OR FANS)

Little have they realized that GREED is more loss making. What if these explode too?

apple has been recycling and selling old phones like the iphone SE just to milk profit from an older phone. but this is worst, with note 8 just around the corner, they are trying to sell back a phone that already has a damage reputation for its defects. they could just buried the note 7 and move on to the note 8, im sure the note 8 will be priced higher than this FE unit

AnonD-404798, 03 Jul 2017Nah , this is better than HTC U 11 ...bc at least it still ... moreThat is absolutely no criteria to judge a phone. Sure it skips the headphone jack, but it gives you a 24-bit DAC. The U11 also has superior cameras, chipset and most probably battery life.

Only problem for Samsung is the Note7 and Note8 coincide timewise instead of being a year apart thus competing directly against each other. The Note7s are already manufactured (except for the battery, etc.) lying in a warehouse somewhere so far representing a write off whereas the Note8s are not yet manufactured. So - as is - the choice Samsung is up against is selling a Note 7 for say $600. Or manufacture a Note8 at a cost of perhaps $400 and sell it for perhaps $900 making $500.

Haha, I still have the Dbrand skin for this - never got to use it. But I'm not going to be getting the Note7 FE because the Note8 is just around the corner.

It was a great phone, last year. I loved my...greatest 10 days of a new-phone experience in a long time. Actually enjoyed getting it way more than getting my S8+. However, it is a 2016 phone, and it is now dated. With the Note8 potentially only 2 months away, those after the latest-and-greatest will wait. For those wanting a Note for a good price and are happy to get an 'older' phone, then this will appeal.

Still, was a tremendous step up from the Note 5. Really wish they'd just called it the Note 6 and not 'lost' the Note 7 title for the next Note.
