in Indonesia it will launch in august..

and it supposed to have 3gb RAM , 64 internal memory, NFC , gyro sensor.

with slightly below USD 300 price, it will be too good to be true from samsung.

i think samsung underestimated vivo and oppo who stole their market last and this ongoing year.

I think I'll buy the last year's version, it cost about the half of the price in my country, it's really better to buy an A series for that price than this.

Don't buy it, first at least check RAM consumption. J7 2016 has >50% Ram consumption out of box , THIS IS Ridiculius. I have 30% on chinese phone

so every new model, the price will increase? yea i know better spec, but dont they have another model for that? i mean this is J series, "J". J7 2020, the price will be the same as S8+

Well, the J7 Pro that was launched in India a week or two ago should be reviewed by GSMA instead of this J7 (2017) as it is a much better variant of the J7 2017 Model.

This is wrong. It has to be better spec on same price. This one has almost same spec on higher prize. Galaxy j7 2018 - Exynos 7870 Android 8 prize 450 euro

What do you mean by "it can't shoot 4k"? It'd better if you specify that this is software limit.Unless I'm missing something here...

AnonD-429239, 12 Jul 2017Another day, another phone from crapsung. Want to replace... moreEvery statement you wrote basically is every manufacturers these days. If you want a phone from a brand that's not releasing a model after another, go get yourself an iPhone, or OnePlus if you want android.

If you insist to choose Samsung's midrange, then you should be ready with these "additional" products like the "pro" or "prime"s. If you really seek the best, buy the flagship. Bet you won't take a glance to their midrange product and enjoy your phone until next year or maybe next couple of years.

Basically just 2 points: definitely it would have been better if they included the Exynos 7880 instead of the lower 7870. And yes hopefully it will be worth its higher price tag.

Front part is attractive. But back part is so much sporty look. I think Samsung just copied the Nokia's thought about back camera and flash thought. I think Nokia can take actions like Apple for copying this idea. Waiting for specifications. But one thing.... unfortunately the outlook is discouraged me to not to buy.

Another day, another phone from crapsung.
Want to replace my note 5 whose screen suddenly blacked out. (A $650 phone which was barely a year old).

Ive been to numerous smartphone shops testing phone models from iPhone, Huawei, LG, etc., Couldn't find a suitable one that meets my specs. Now I'm back to Samsung.
                                        I was settling on the A7 (2017), now they've released the j7 (2017), tomorrow they'll suddenly release the j7 optimum, and then after the C5 & C7 extra (2017).
And so if I buy one now, it can turn out to be a mistake when another phone with better specs is released In a few days.

Maybe crapsung should should begin to introduce some more order & timing into the release of their mid range phones, especially now that their flagships are offering less value for money.
