It's Amazing to know this guy ran Apple once. He is the complete opposite of Stave Jobs. The Opposite of a Visionary and an Inventor and Innovator. While he may be able to run a company, he doesn't seem to have any talent required for running a company whose sule purpose is innovation and re-invention.

The only thing Essentially there to make Rubin's phone have a modicum of appeal is if Apple really sh*ts the bed on the iPhone 8's price, not that it would matter for the die hards, but saying this as someone who prefers Android over iOS it can only stand out if the iPhone 8 is indeed eleven hundred.

essentially death ... you cant generate hype on something if you are not ready to ship it under a estimated time... I think problem was money ...so don't tell me got a lot because any way invest in this business require a lot of it,.... and he wanted to play with customers money and not with his.

I preordered and was excited to try it, but this delay will doom Essential. You can't announce a new, unproven phone at the same time as the Note 8, iPhone 8 and V30. At this point, they should delay the phone until the Christmas season after the iPhone/Note 8 hype dies down.
