Oh 31 August means we will be getting it earlier than I thought. Well all the great companies are releasing their 2nd flagship phones of the year around same time. The Samsung Galaxy note 8, iPhone 8, Huawei mate 10 and the V30 as well. It will be a cracker hut it's good LG is coming ahead of them. I know the phone will be powerful so we are waiting. I know I can only get one here next year.

LG could stand out with removable bigger battery and snappier camera for V30. There's a market for that and I love 2nd screen. Add OLED and it will be a beauty. Especially since prices drop so fast. But now with this it seems to be another samsung s8, and I don't care about that at all!

Yea...like there is so much design that can be acomplished on a rectangle with a slab of glass on it.
Its essence that matters today,we are not 2004 anymore when crazy designs were left and right.And of the matter of essence,LG is left behing its competitors years now.Only reedeming feature of LG's today are their dual camera setup(which I like the most),everything else... meh

The only reason I'm using the G5 is for the removable battery. I dont really care about LG in particular. I hope every manfacturer doesn't completely ditch it

So a bigger G6 with removable battery gone forever. Holding onto my V20 forever. It isn't perfect by any means. My V20 camera crashed multiple times because my Samsung microSD is junk and needed to be formatted again. V20 also lags a little more than my G5 and will slow to a crawl when heated up.
V20 -
Better display
Better camera
Better battery life
G5 -
Better design
Better speaker
Smoother UI (still on MM)
Every phone has trades-offs. My Pixel is the most perfect Android UI to use but since it doesn't have removable battery, IR blaster, FM radio, and no expandable storage, it can never be #1 to me.
It is sorta between the two LGs for me. I think G5 makes the better media player but V20 makes the best travel phone. The video recording is superior on it. Both do suffer from the unrealistic colors. G5 video is choppy and dark. V20 brightens it up better in shadows, sharper, and better dynamic range. Both are kinda 1 and 1A.
