The interesting thing is how the camera will work. Will it be equipped with a stereo view camera which can interpretate the sight of a human eye?

The last few Nokia phones that I owned were the Nokia 2310 (Basic Phone which lasted for 7 years), Nokia X2-00 (Qwerty), Nokia Asha 200 (Qwerty Dual SIM) and the iconic Nokia N8.. Nokia, for me, died the day they ditched Symbian & MeeGo and went with Windows Phone. Microsoft killed the iconic brand that Nokia was.. These Android powered Nokias are like bodies without soul. I mean, there's no exclusivity around the current crop of Nokia smartphones. The design seems about same around all the the entry level, mid-range, and high-end segments. What's more is that, Nokia doesn't have its own customized version of Android.. Stock Android is just too plain and a boring affair from me. After the hardware, what really matters, is the user experience and since the user will be interacting with the software, Nokia has nothing to offer on the software front. I guess, I shouldn't get my hopes high.. Nokia is just not Nokia anymore. I give up.

Big bezels, no hw shutter, no surprising leak, lets hope their show will be better.

mmj321, 25 Jul 2017On August 23 the nokia 8 will be eclipsed by the note 8I think its 50/50 chance... but if Nokia 8 can deliver zeiss camera quality and true flagship performance then it will be shrunken Note 8 sales surely. And dont forget there is still many people out there that love classic design. There is Htc u11 and oneplus 5 with its classic design and still sale well.

5.3" is too small for a flagship today. 5.5" is the minimum and I am personally not interested in anything less than 6"
