Prometheous, 28 Jul 2017The front is too flashy and will attract attention.Just wrap it with black plastic bag and make a hole for the lens.

The Motorola atrix made for a pretty good dashcam though I had to find a good mount because no OIS. Now I use a white note 4 because of the heat. Cam's that use capacitors don't have very long charges. More manufacturers need to make cams that blend with rearview mirror and make lighter colors. If it's going to stand out, at least make it lighter so it absorbs less heat.

I doubt this will be any good, it's suction mount for a start and they often fall off in extreme hot or cold scenarios and also allow a tiny bit of vibration that degrades the video quality slightly.
Parking motion detection can be good as long as a camera is hardwired so it's recording all the time but only saving if motion / shock is detected but if it's going to run off an internal battery and only record after the bump or motion then it's quite pointless. If it has an internal battery they can leak when they get hot (windscreen is one of the hottest places in the car) then a year down the line your camera can die due to corrosion. Limit info here to decide but it doesn't look anything special.

Motion sensor in dash cams is usually used for the scenario, when your car is parked and the camera shut off. When somebody crashes in your car, the movement (slight shake) of your car triggers the motion sensor, which powers on your dash cam and start recording the guilty driver...

Think what was meant was that it'll help when you drive forward and can see how much space there is in front for you to go forward, instead of relying on your eyes to judge the distance.. Some people i've seen from sitting in a cafe and watching them park, they only stop when they see the car in front jolt when they hit it..

Help park car? without any sensors or cameras around the car I don't see how a dash cam can help.

Thumb up for company like Motorola etc; spent more time in lab invent new technology for better life, than company which spent more times in court for legal battle
