Nokia 8 camera interface leaks, second rear cam will have monochrome sensor

    Symbian was the true father of Mobile Os. It supported that additional Dedicated Image Processor on Nokia 808 which can't be supported by Android in the near future because of limitations.

    Even the 1020 took about 5 seconds to take a single full resolution pic.
    I wish Nokia(covering in the name of HMD) gain enough profit to start it's Proper R&D again.
    We all need that Innovation thing from Nokia again coz. no-one else does.

No system of today supports that camera natively. Symbian was a monster in functionality and native handling of hardware. Hack it supported even multiple processors, and wasn't stealing ones data. Anyway, that camera will probably be at some point available, but for now, android cannot handle it. What nokia has done with 1020, minding the fact what wp was exactly like android, same hardware limitations problem was pure Engineering but still they could not make it fast enough to brake the expectations. Well, at the end, the cpu also has something to say when everything relies on it.

            Somebody Brand make earlier take photos from front and rear cameras same time and sticking two photos in one photo like you was there, or taking separately didn't remeber exacly Sony LG or. Also cameras had useful modes like video and taking pictures same time from rear or front cameras. Collages are handy. Also useful thing was flash lighting management after taking pictures, people remover from pictures, gif photos. Monohrome sensor and dual lens RGB sensor seems promising form night shots samples.

                    Standard RAM = 4GB + 1 Varient (TA 1052) with 6GB RAM

                    Price :- 434 Euro before VAT, so maybe we can hope it for below 500 Euro which is competitive price.

                    Some Benchmark app(Geekbench, I think) showed that both the front & back camera can do 4K shooting.

                      Thanks God for this,am sick of the useless 2x zoom that the major player shovel it of to the customers as something speciall.
                      The only other solution I like is the LG wide lens,but oth of these are more practical than the zoom in real world.

                      P.S.this and the audio jack got a customer to HMD when my iphone 6 dies eventually.

                        Just 3 points: hopefully it will include a 6GB RAM (standard) and not 4. Price definitely really competitive (for a major brand flagship). And hopefully the Note 8, V30 (among others), will include as well the 4K rec from both front and back cameras. Well done to Nokia.
