Samsung latest series li... moreBeautiful sure but with all this curved screen phone you have to use a huge case. without case a couple of drop and the screen is shattered. What is the point of having a beautiful and thin phone if you have to always carry it in a big ugly case.
My lg v20 fell dozens of time without case and is just fine. All my friends with samsung curved screen had damaged its screen or rear panel

i will pass.
After galaxy note 4 and now LG v20 i will stick to my v20 for a couple of year.

Pretty much decided this will replace my Note 4.
After trying the S8+ for a week, I'm going to dump all those pretty curved supermodel Samsungs for a more practical girl, the V30 who has a flat screen, bigger battery, IR blaster, decent camera setup, and can cook ;)

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017You loved the G5's design hahahahahaG5 has a better design than every Samsung Galaxy 1-5. My silver G5 looks better than my V20. Even better than iPhone 6 and 7 series. The rear camera didn't protrude that much. One of the most underrated phones ever. Super smooth too.
But alas, I am preferring my uglier Pixel and V20 more. Why? Because neither suffer from ghosting and both offer to lower the MP count for smaller photo size. V20 is the superior phone anyway. Better display, camera (video recording + more manual controls), and battery life. My V20 came with FM radio app by default. I had to download one for my G5 but it can't play through speaker. The only advantage of G5 over V20 is it is smaller and louder speaker. In most cases, V20 is superior to it in almost every way.
I'm preferring my Google Pixel over both because I plan to stick to Verizon and love that it doesn't have any carrier bloat. It lacks removable battery, microSD slot, IR blaster, and FM radio. That's why I own the G5 and V20 for those features. Where it wins is size, feel, software experience is the smoothest ever. Camera and battery life are both rock solid. It isn't pretty but it gets the job done. The unlimited cloud storage is also a huge plus.
My Favs
1. Google Pixel (32gb, silver)
2. LG V20 (64gb + 128gb card, matte black/titan)
3. LG G5 (32gb + 128gb card, silver)
For a media player and travel cameraphone, V20 or G5. For a phone which can run on both T-Mobile or Verizon, my Pixel. The phone that can run under the best network (Verizon) in the United States without carrier bloat and fastest update would be the best for me. The iPhone qualifies but I hate iOS.

Though I would like it better if it had an improved camera. It's the same as the S6 and Note 5 and S5, but in the latter there was OIS. And in the following year much brighter lenses and newer image processors.
They need to add a few more of the newer features to the Note 4. Especially since for almost a year it was still the last one available behind the Note5.

P-OLED may be different, but I tried a Zenfone 3 Zoom in a store, which has an AMOLED display, and that thing stinks with its ugly purplish burn in on the screen.
I thought it was just some sort of dirt on the screen, but I tried wiping the screen and it's just permanently there.
I guess I won't buy an AMOLED screen as of now, definitely not from Samsung. Besides, IPS screens are still good, and the G6 and XZ Premium are the perfect examples of why AMOLED isn't the best display technology in the world.

So in market share less and less LCD choice. Me choise win those who release 16:9 or 18:9 LCD with QHD RGB 5.7inch 6inch+ with fulllight spectrum abient sensor, different content screen profiles white balanse color saturation balanse management. And without quantum dot technology because of toxic effect. Its sad LG will need choose others brands like Sony HTC Huawei and others brands with LCD.
