S8's software (Bixby) is not totally ready half and year after the release...when a Pixel device is released his software is already global(at least for Google devices, the other companies are lazier)

Checked the updates manualy and it just appeared ( i live in Hungary) so did the updates but nothing has changed, Bixby has the recomended cards but nothing more yet. We still have to wait for the server to activate the functions.

Google Assistant isn't half as capable as Bixby. And this is just the first version of Bixby.
Google Assistant wil only be installed on your smartphone an maybe some wearables.
Bixby on: smartphones, wearables, refrigerators, washing machines, VR, ovens, airco's, TV's, sound equipment, IOT devices, home security and with acquiring Harman Kardan the automotive industry Big Time!!!
ONLY one assistant and allways the same assistant no matter what device you're talking to. Bixby will get to know you better and better and will need less input over time to understand what you mean and what your preferences are.

I have sim free S8+, no update on BIxby UK for me. From what I understand each countries servers are waiting updating so that each country can be pinged message to handset for updating Bixby.

After all i still belive that Bixby will be fun. I have my s+ since the realy beginning and it serves well with google assistance but if Bixby will do his job with the voice control than i will be more then happy. Everybody just complaining about the delay but i don't care about it - the phone is good and Bixby will give it a boost.

Note 8 is about to release before that Samsung wants to release Bixby to the global customers else SALES of NOTE 8 may affect... That's what... Samsung is one of the biggest Business magnet in Mobile world... If note 8 is not release this month, Samsung may not thing about Bixby for global customers even...
